Do you ever feel like you’re in a spiritual rut? Everything seems a bit, well...meh! Don’t get me wrong, you’re not walking away from God, you’re not turning you’re back on him. But, it’s been a while since you really felt excited by God or by church and sometimes you wonder why you do all this. If you’ve ever felt like that, you’re in good company - in 450 BC, that was the mood in Jerusalem! After God’s people had returned from exile and rebuilt the temple, they had got into a rut. They questioned whether God was worth following and were living a half-hearted life of following him. With more wrangling tension than any Netflix series, Malachi replays six disputes between God and his people to encourage us to live faithfully in a challenging world.
