Christianity Explored

 What is Christianity Explored?

Christianity Explored is an informal and relaxed six week course.  It’s for anyone who wants to think about what Christianity says about the meaning of life.  It’s designed to help you explore the big issues we all think about.  It’s run by ordinary people, and looks at the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ.

You can ask any questions you want and meet people on a similar journey to you.

What happens at Christianity Explored?

There will hopefully be about six to twelve people in the group, and a mixture of ages.  We look at a bit of the Bible, considering what it says about Jesus Christ.  We watch a short DVD focusing on a part of Jesus’ life and have a time for discussion.  You can say as much or as little as you like.  And don’t worry – you’ll never be asked to sing, pray or read aloud. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible either.

And if you miss a week, that’s ok too.  You can pull out at any time you like, for any reason.

Here’s what Andy, who attended the course, said:

Christianity Explored gave me a great forum to voice my arguments against Jesus with people who could help me find the answers

When does it start?

We will be running a new course after Easter, it will run at church at 7.45 pm on Wednesdays, starting on 10th April and running for 6 weeks.
