At Woodgreen, we are committed to encouraging women to grow in their relationship with Christ, and equipping them to use their gifts to serve his church. The women’s ministry team aims to serve women by creating opportunities for friendship, mentoring, prayer, evangelism and bible study.

Prayer triplets
Praying together is a great way to deepen friendships and support one another. Several women meet regularly in 2’s or 3’s to share together and pray for one another. If you’d like to join a prayer triplet, speak to, or email Carolyn.

1-2-1 mentoring relationships
We encourage women to read the bible together informally, applying its truth to everyday life. Women who are more mature in their faith have the opportunity to help those who are younger to grow in their understanding of the bible. Both encourage one other to love Jesus and live for him. If you’d like to know more, speak to, or email Carolyn.

16x9Oasis - CopyOasis Bible Study
An opportunity for women to study the Bible together. We aim to encourage one another to grow in our knowledge of God through his word, and to deepen relationships as we share together and pray for each other. All Woodgreen women, of any age,  are welcome. A crèche is provided for those with pre-school aged children.
2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month, starting at 9.30am. For more details, contact Carolyn or Shona (Due to limited capacity, this Bible study is only open to regular members of the Woodgreen Church family)

Every year we organise a day or weekend conference (alternate years). Day conferences provide an opportunity for us to hear God’s word specifically applied to the issues we face as 21st century women and to share together over lunch. The weekend conferences are ideal opportunities to get to know one another better as we eat, share, laugh, and relax together away from the demands of everyday life.

Other events
Throughout the year there are opportunities for women to meet together—to relax and chat over puddings, to discuss a book, to listen to a Bible talk, or to invite friends to hear the gospel message. See the Events page for details of upcoming events.
