Joseph - But God Intended it for Good

Joseph’s story is a rollercoaster ride of jealously, betrayal, deceit, lust and power. Joseph’s life is changed forever when he is sold into slavery and ends up in prison, forgotten by family but not by God. Here we see that God can be trusted to bring good out of the worst of circumstances. As Joseph says ‘You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good’. Joseph’s story points us towards the much bigger story of Jesus, the suffering son who was exalted to a position of power and used by God to save many. Looking at Joseph, we will see Jesus.
