What does a team member do?

Team members are encouraged to develop friendships with the adults who attend, with the aim of sharing Jesus with them. They need to know and love the Lord Jesus and regularly attend Woodgreen Evangelical church. Opportunities exist to serve by:
Setting up and putting away equipment.
Preparing and serving refreshments.
Telling Bible stories and leading singing.
Preparing craft activities.
Your role will depend on your gifting, abilities and available time.

Who would it suit?

Simply put, all that is needed is for someone to LOVE Jesus by:
having a regular Quiet Time, attending Church or growth group regularly and living a life that by God's grace commends the Gospel.
And someone who wants to share Jesus with others.
Roles vary within the team - no one has to do all roles.
Roles include - starting conversations with the parent, listening to people's concerns, showing empathy and giving support.
Physically setting up for each session, and clearing away.
Serving refreshments.

How is the role supported?

Attend occasional training as appropriate.
Attend Parent & Toddler occasional prayer meetings.
Attend a leader's meeting once a term
Attend annual training events
Undergo a DBS check and regular safeguarding training.

When would someone be needed to serve?

Setting up starts at 9:00am on term time Fridays and Wednesdays and packing away is finished by 12:15pm
