Seniors

FILL logo
We have several opportunities for the older generation who are 65+ to enjoy fellowship and friendship through meeting together. We believe growing old is a stage in life to be enjoyed and valued, especially through shared experiences and relationships which include:

FILL (Faith in Later Life)
This is the new name and logo for what was formerly known as Fellowship Hour.
FILL is an open meeting for all who consider themselves to be in later life and wish to participate in fellowship in this Christ-honouring gathering. Further details and enquiries can be obtained from the church office.
Refreshments are available from 10:30am onwards with a formal meeting including word ministry, singing and prayer from 11:00am until 12 noon

 LC-Green+grey16x9Lunch Club
This provides an opportunity to meet and chat over food and is held every 2 - 3 weeks, on Tuesdays, between 12:15pm and 2:00pm. There is a short talk during lunch on a Christian theme.

The Lunch Club is very popular, so booking in advance is essential. Please contact Mike Sledge or the church office, for more information or to book a place.

Art Group
Many who enjoy painting and artwork com together with some instruction and coaching, if required. This group has in an informal atmosphere and runs on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month between 10:00am and 2:00pm. A packed lunch is needed and a small charge is made. No need to book, just come along!

Summer Seniors
During August each year we enjoy a 'staycation' which includes events and activities for those who are perhaps unlikely to go away on holiday. This takes place over a few days and includes events and activities both at the church and off-site.
