Truth that Transforms (Titus)

Authenticity is in short supply in our world. We prize it but rarely come across it. Titus is a book all about what authentic Christianity looks like and where it comes from.

Paul wrote the letter to his friend Titus, to help him trouble-shoot and straighten-out the churches they’d planted on the island of Crete. The Christians in Crete were confused about what it looked like to live authentically for Jesus. They had questions about leadership, manhood and womanhood, their duties as citizens and how they were to be distinct as a church community. Paul’s message to Titus is simple: he was to apply the gospel and teach the ‘truth that leads to godliness’ (1:1).
