The Church Under Pressure (2 Thessalonians)

The recently-planted Thessalonian Church was a church under pressure. Facing persecution, false teachers, and disruption within the church, the Apostle Paul writes this second letter to the Thessalonians to encourage these believers to stand firm and hold fast to the faithful teaching they’ve received. Paul is particularly concerned that, in the midst of these varied troubles, his readers look forward with confidence and certain hope to the return of the Lord Jesus. Join us as we consider together what difference the forthcoming return of Jesus Christ makes to our lives in the here and now!
