A MARK OF GOD’S GRACE
Read 2 Corinthians 8:1-4. The Macedonian churches were models of cheerful giving. They gave generously, sacrificially and eagerly.
A PRELUDE TO GOD’S BLESSING
Read 2 Corinthians 9:6-10. When we give to God we get a great return from him!
A REFLECTION OF GOD’s HEART
Read 2 Corinthians 8:9 and 9:15. How much should we give? A tithe or 10%? The New Testament benchmark is much higher than 10%. If we are to imitate Jesus we are to give 100% and regard everything we have as belonging to God.
